RIDGE RUNNER SIGN CLEAN-UP DETAIL ON THE 28TH OF MARCH!!! - Ed @ 08:17 EST

NEED 30 VOLUNTEERS - TO BE FOLLOWED WITH A BONFIRE AND HOT DOG ROAST

March 28th at 8:00 at Randy Phillips place at 1808 Plank Road in Webster. Park on the North side of the road.

WE NEED:

8 - 4 wheelers ( preferably with a rack to bungee chord posts to or a wide tired tailer to tow behind)

Everyone brings a screw gun

Back packs to put signs in

4-5 more pole removers. If anyone has a connection to another club or a town or village that could let us borrow one for the weekend approach them and please let me know if you can bring one. Without the extra pole pullers our day will be twice as long

Goal is to have all signs and posts and roping back to Randy's by noon. Won't take long to stack poles, organize and count signs.

Will have a cook out and bon-fire right at Randy's.

Bring the teenagers, it is a great way to learn how it is done and will make it easier to do next year.

PLEASE E-MAIL ME WITH WHAT YOU CAN BRING SO I CAN SET UP THE 7 CREWS OF 4 PEOPLE FOR EACH LEG OF THE TRAIL SYSTEM.

ALSO LET ME KNOW WHAT EQUIPMENT YOU ARE BRINGING.

If you haven't had a chance to help out the club yet, this is a good way to get your feet wet. Many have said that once they have done it that they learned a lot, got familiar with the trail system and had fun.

Poker Run 2009 Snow or no Snow - Ed @ 13:34 EST

Date: Sunday, February 1, 2009 (Super Bowl Sunday)
Place: Granskofski's on 104 in Ontario (WRR Trail System)
Registration Time: 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Donation per hand: $10.00 (buy as many hands as you wish)

You will draw your Poker hand when you register and are free to ride and enjoy the whole WRR trail system.
There will be no trail stops this year as we no longer have our "Webster loop". This is to minimize "side of road" riding as well as maintain safety.
PLEASE RIDE SAFE - Be aware there will be heavy 2-way traffic and families with young children.
Return to Granskofski's for Awards, Raffle's, and 50/50 by 3:00 pm
Winning hand announced promptly at 3:30 pm
You DO NOT need to be there to win highest Poker Hand or the Bike raffle.
You DO need to be there to win the Door Prize's and 50/50.
Proceeds from the 50/50 and Bike Raffle will be donated to a charity TBD.
Tie hands - add the prize $ of the tie places and split the total.

Best 5 card hands win
1st Place - $200
2nd Place - $150
3rd Place - $100
4th Place - $75
Pick a Joker and win $5.00

Door prize raffle tickets - $1.00 each
Mountain Bike Raffle tickets - $2.00 each
50/50 tickets are: 7 for $5.00 4 for $3.00 and 1 for $1.00

Be sure to stop by the infamous Lou's "OASIS" on the Power Lines. Special thanks to Lou Malin for setting up and running the Oasis. He does this entirely on his own so if you see Lou, tell him thanks!

Special 'Poker Run' maps will be provided designating areas to use extra caution. We will have someone stationed by at least 3 street crossing locations for added safety.

Webster Ridge Runner’s Family Picnic - Ed @ 14:49 EST

The Webster Ridge Runner’s Family Picnic is Tentatively set for January 11th, 2009 registration starts at 11am Hosted by Dick and Sharon Weidman. If there is NOT enough snow it will be held on January 25th, Please check our web site for updates The picnic is hosted on the trail system at 1111 County Line road, where the trail crosses County Line Rd. just south of State Rd. This event is open to EVERYONE and there are events that run throughout the day for the ENTIRE Family. Food and drinks will be provided by the club and trophies will be awarded to event winners. We have had 100+ members turn out in the previous years, lets make this year a success! Please check the Website, Sno-Phone and e-mail for updates leading up to the picnic.
