09/21/01 - Grassfire Volunteers - time to sign up - Ed @ 22:59 EST
The Grassfire 500 Committee met Wednesday 09/19 to finalize plans and preparations for this years event. All committee heads reported and indicated we are almost ready. The Committee will meet one last time on 10/17.
Among items discussed was the annual call for WRR members to volunteer and sign up for one of the many tasks needing coverage race weekend.
As in the past JB Hanlon will organize the volunteer list and assign each person to a specific duty and time period at the race site. The more people we have the less burden will be placed on all.
Each volunteer will receive a Grassfire 500 tee shirt, food tickets for race day and an invitation to the annual after event party scheduled for Nov.10th. The best reward is knowing you have helped your club.

Trail Work Volunteers – Are you ready to ride like the wind? Work on the trail system to prepare it for the new groomer has already begun, but we still have a lot of work to do. Work details will begin as soon as we have volunteers lined up. Paul Yesersky

9/09/01 - Grassfire Committee Meeting - Ed @ 06:58 EST
The Grssfire 500 Committee is scheduled to meet on September 19, 2001 at 730pm. The meeting place is the Webster VFW on Jackson Road.
This meeting is open to the entire club membership.
Purpose of the meeting is to finalize plans and arrangements and to generate enthusiasm for the upcoming event.
All committee members will be mailed a meeting notice and agenda.
All committee members should plan on attending.
