The best food in a long time a great turnout and of coarse Miserable Tim and the Blue Shadows were awesome.To all who did not attend, to bad you missed it, the banquet gets better every year.See ya next year........................................

NYSSA Forum 2000 - Ed @ 11:42 EST
03/8 - NYSSA Forum 2000 NYSSA 2000 Annual Meeting and Forum 2000 is scheduled for Saturday, April 8th at The Beeches in Rome, NY. Morning sessions feature the Trails Fund program by OPRHP, In the afternoon, the state association Annual Meeting will be held,
Registration is $20/person by April 5th and $25 after that, including day of the Forum.
Registration starts at 7:30 AM, and the first session begins at 8:30 AM.
law enforcement,
dealing with the media,
how to secure some of the thousands of federal gas tax dollars for groomers,
and an expert panel discussion on improving snowmobiling in New York.
featuring discussion and votes on the organizational budget,
officers for the upcoming year,
establishment of a public use defense fund,
organizational goals,
and alternatives to increasing funding support for trail maintenance.

03/8 - Trail Boss Report Well I do not think winter is over yet, but we did have a good season so far.I would like to thank some club members for there help this year.Thanks to Bob Salmon for his help on the south trail, thanks to Ed Duffy for his help running the groomer,and thanks to Don Wilson for his countiued efforts with the groomer operations.I would also like to thank Bob Cook for taking over the dutys of the road crossing signs.And last but not least I must thank my two new trail assistants, Ryan Wilson and Aj Heiligman they gave upto the minute trail conditions on the web site every day and also made repairs when they needed them.These two are the future of the trail system.(I hope)Thanks also to the many volenteers who came out this year and worked with me your help was much appreciated.Please don't forget that a lot of help is needed to keep the Grassfire 500 going it is this clubs only fund raiser and with a new groomer on the way money is going to be needed in order to prepair the trails for the new groomer.Again thanks to everyone, Joe Scofero.
