Trail Work October 26, 2002 - Ed @ 08:58 EST
Trail Work October 26, 2002 The Farmer’s Almanac is predicting a lot of snow for this winter so we need to get our trails in shape for a great riding season. Our first workday will be Saturday October 26th. We will meet at the Weidman’s, 1111 County Line Road at 8:30. Bring anything you have that can be used to trim back the brush. Tree pruners, gas hedge clippers, brush cutters, chain saws and hand trimmers (snips) are all good tools to have. In case of rain (or snow) we will reschedule for Sunday the 27th. Same time, same place. Additional workdays will be planned based on what we accomplish the first time out. The more hands we have, the less time it will take. Please contact me at pty@rochester.rr.com or 671-6872 if you are planning on helping. This could be a super year for riding our trails, so let’s pitch in and get them in shape so we can enjoy them.
